Advisor Designs' Process7 steps carefully tailored to foster collaboration and result in successful financial advisor websites.
Step 1: Quote Request
The first step is to gather all of the details and specifications for your website to help determine the scope of the project. In many cases, this process is started via our online quote form. We’d like to know as much as possible about your business and see a few examples of other websites that have the look, feel, and or functionality that you are looking for. (It’s okay for you to tell us about sites that you don’t like too.)
Step 2: Project Evaluation
We can set up a phone meeting to make sure we have all of the details straight. Let us know which WordPress theme you would like us to customize, tell us about any special features, functions or compliance tools you need. We will answer all of your deepest, darkest web-related questions, and hopefully get a feel for what it would be like to work together. At this point, we’ll have the information we need to assemble your project’s estimate.
Step 3: Formal Estimate & Agreement
At your request, we will draft a formal estimate for you to review. We itemize our estimate for your specific project, and we include details of what our website plan includes and any add-on products, services, or third-party integrations you request. We’ll assemble an estimate for your review, and if everything looks good send an accompanying invoice for a deposit.
Step 4: Submit Your Content
During this phase, you will organize your web page text and image content and gather all the appropriate client deliverables using your chosen theme demos’ layout as a guide. Receiving this information helps us understand the challenges and solutions we’ll provide with creative design. Armed with this information, we can customize your theme to work for your firm and your clients, not just you, and not just us.
Step 5: Design Phase
The first step in the design phase is to set up your new theme at a development site to work from. Starting with the home page, our lead designer will customize your images to meet the theme’s dimensional requirements. Along with your images, branding color scheme and text, we will begin customizing the theme into your company website. We then start on the other key pages of the site’s design and ensure the look and feel of all the sub-pages are consistent site wide. All themes are mobile-friendly, so we’ll be paying special attention to how things are coming along across multiple devices.
Step 6: Review, Q&A and Testing
When all of the dynamic web content and custom programming has been completed, we will review and test the entire website with you. We will also provide training for the WordPress pages, posts and any special plugins that your site may require. Finally, we’ll do a thorough audit and the finishing touches will be completed in preparation for launch.
Step 7: Final Approval & Launch
When everything has been tested and approved, your training has been completed, and the final balance of the project has been received, we launch the new website and everyone celebrates! Once launched, we’ll be standing by to handle any requests, additions or enhancements for the life of your website, and will plan to check in with you regularly to make sure things stay up to date.
